************************************************************************************
In January we Got Fit and Got In Shape at Odyssey Entertainment Center.  While there, we worked out with trainers Gonzalo Perez & Troy Small who worked out those who attended. We had several vendors who educated everyone on healthy eating. We also celebrated my birthday with a cake provided by Lunja Sutherland, owner of Sutherland Sweet Treats.

In February we celebrated Black History Month, with a grand celebration in Temecula at the Sports Center. This event came together with the help of In the City Beauty Supply owner, Veronica Griffin. The vendor fair went on throughout the day and we topped off the evening with a talent show, that awarded winners with CASH!

In March, we met at Juice It Up, Temeculahosted by owner Willie Smith, where Karen Totty and Donna Kidd-Cox -(may Donna RIP – as she was a BIG help to me with several chamber mixers and as a friend! I will miss her!) spoke on Real Estate. Food was provided byLaTanya Eiland with Cooking with Tanya.
In April we celebrated the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of TOI MOORE, as chamber President of the Inland Valley chapter at Da Bayou restaurant in Temecula. Our speaker wasEric Leach, better known as the App Guy! Eric informed the audience on how personalized apps can help grow your business.

In May we had speaker Willie Smith, owner of Juice It Up, Temecula as our speaker. The mixer was held at Da Bayou in Temecula. In June, the chamber also joined in with other chapters at a celebrity golf event where, several celebrities enjoyed a day in the sun!

In July we had speaker Mahoganee Davis, from New York Life, who spoke on the importance of life insurance. The mixer was held at Lienzo Charro’s Mexican Restaurant in Temecula. In August we took off.

During the summer several chamber members, friends and family members, had fun at the Bill Pickett Black Rodeo.

We also celebrated the awarding of President’s Toi Moore and Tammy Martin-Ryles and other women, as they were honored as Women of Distinction, by the Quinn AME Church in Moreno Valley.

In September speaker James Cannon, the father of entertainer, Nick Cannon, spoke on how listeners could jump start their business. We also enjoyed the sounds of saxophonist Rodney Taylor, who entertained the group with his music.  This mixer was held at Lienzo Charro’s restaurant in Temecula.

In October speaker and Vice President Nikisha Bond, shared business secrets and tools they could use to make their business more successful. This mixer was held at Robins Nest in Temecula. In November we had speaker Julie Daniels, who spoke about on Obama Care and what can be expected. This mixer was held at El Torito’s restaurant in Temecula.

In December we had our 2nd annual Holiday Bazaar at Mt. View Community Church. At this event we had SEVERAL vendors come out and offer speciality items for sale and as Christmas gifts. This event was a GREAT SUCCESS and was held on Sunday Dec.8th, wherePastor John Wells allowed each vendor to be presented in front of the afternoon church service.
